Our offices serve patients in the cities of Livermore, Pleasanton, Sunol, Dublin, San Ramon, Danville, Alamo, Castro Valley, Manteca, Mountain House, Brentwood, and Oakley plus many other surrounding communities.

Our practice was established in 1974 and has grown with the expanding population of the area. We have second and even third generation patients continuing to see us! We care for patients from birth through age 20.

Our philosophy is to take time to evaluate your child as an individual. We use careful history taking, physical findings and clinical judgment to arrive at diagnoses. Our providers only use laboratory and radiology tests when necessary. We do not prescribe antibiotics unless there is a reason for their use.

Our friendly staff will help you feel comfortable in both our office sites. Providers are available Monday through Friday at both locations to see you and your children. There are limited evening hours available Monday through Thursday in the Pleasanton office site. On Saturday, the Pleasanton location only is open 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  for sick office visits. If your child is ill after regular office hours or on Sunday, there is a 24-hour answering service available. At those times there is an advice line with pediatric nurse practitioners following approved protocols to help you. There is always a back-up pediatrician available with whom to speak. If your child needs to be seen at those after hours times, a visit with an office provider or direction to your insurance approved medical facility is arranged.

The hospital we use for pediatric admissions and all newborn care is ValleyCare Health System at 5555 West Las Positas Boulevard in Pleasanton, Ca. This hospital has a Level II Newborn Nursery and a separate pediatric unit, both staffed 24 hours a day with pediatric hospitalists to care for your child's medical needs. When necessary, we refer to Children’s Hospital, Oakland, Ca., Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, Stanford, Palo Alto, Ca. or University of California Medical Center, San Francisco, Ca.
